It’s not so much that the Earth is wrecked, but rather that it’s done as such altogether. “2012,” the mother of all calamity motion pictures (and the father, and the more distant family) spends 30 minutes on unfavorable set-up scenes (researchers caution, bizarre occasions happen, prophets rage and obviously a family is presented) and afterward unleashes two hours of destructive extraordinary occasions pounding the Earth persistently.
This is enjoyable. “2012” conveys what it guarantees, and since no aware being will purchase a ticket expecting whatever else, it will be, for its gatherings of people, a standout amongst the most attractive movies of the year. It even has genuine on-screen characters in it.
