Black Tar Road is a lumpy, dim, romantic tale between two ladies, Heather and Charlie, who meet at a barren truck stop. Charlie McElroy (Amber Lee) is a medication donkey, who donkeys drugs for an operation that is come up short on an interstate truck stop. After Charlie stays nearby town where she meets Heather Plath, (Noelle Messier) a solidified truck stop whore who’s spent her life in the country scene.
Few movies are all the more despondent but then, inquisitively, so confident as this one, which contends that even at the very end of the road, at the last furthest point, we can discover some comfort in the offer and acknowledgment of adoration. These ladies become hopelessly enamored with each other.
