As the title suggests, Nick Weiss’s directorial debut, Destination Wedding, is basically about two things weddings and intoxication. The wedding is all about dessert and cloud nine, and the drunkenness becomes shabby and shameless. When we combine these two we can expect epic turmoil, madness and happy overload.
The film opens with the excitement of Phil (Dan Gill) wedding of his sister Daphne (Anne Gregory) sister Elissa (Victoria Gold). To document all the weddings and all that’s going to happen, Phil prepares a range of portable video recorders for every special guest. The couple is flying to a wedding reception in Nicaragua on a beachfront destination.
