Raman (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) respects Raman Raghav, a pyschopath executioner who threatened the Mumbai in the 1960s. He is searching for Raghav; his other half. Raman discovers his “perfect partner” in ACP Raghav, the cop examining the homicides submitted by him. Chief Anurag Kashyap treads natural ground with Raman Raghav 2.0. It is overwhelmingly dull with profound grotesque hints. Kashyap gets the ethical pendulum swaying between his prime characters one an unfeeling homicide and another who has every one of the makings of getting to be one.
He inconspicuously draws parallels between the identities of his men who stand on inverse sides of the range. Raman wonderfully places it in one of the film’s initial scenes that all things considered, he and Raghav are the same individuals yet the police uniform accepts or criminalizes their activities.
